Detail: a design made with the idea of whether the person waiting outside a popular store where there is a long queue it can be sitting in a more light and pleasant bench.
Originally it was an idea of a modern bench to renew the image of a shop, but considering the practicality for the people waiting it was good a fashionable bench with good design and comfort.
Japanese woodwork furniture. The goal of this chair was to pour the skills of the woodworking craftsmen and to have a comfortable sitting feeling with a warmth and modern appearance.
On the design side, I attached a backrest in a low shape. In addition, it was designed to be usable as an indoor sofa. We scratched the oak material into thin member parts and combined it rhythmically. A thin and sharp line silhouette. For that reason, we slightly bend the arm and the foot part, cutting it with a delicate three-dimensional feeling. Also, to make the edge work we slightly scrap angle the extent that it does not damage the touch.
The seating surface and the backrest have been made wider than the general bench considerably so that Japanese, foreigners, elderly people can relax at any body size. Also, this bench is repeatedly tested its safety and strength of the parts and the parts are scraped to the extent that safety can be preserved.

詳細: 行列が出来る人気店の外で、順番を待つ人が座っているベンチをもっと軽快で気持ちの良いベンチにできないかという着想で手がけたデザインです。
もともと、お店のイメージを刷新させるようなモダンなベンチという着想でしたが、順番を待つ人が軽快で気持ち良く待てるという実用性を配慮し、デザイン性プラス座り心地が良いお洒落なベンチが良いと思いました。
日本の木工家具聖地の木工職人の技術を注ぎ込み、人間的な温かみがありながら、外観がお洒落でモダンでゆとりのある、極めて座り心地の良いイメージというのがこの椅子の目指すものでした。
デザイン面では、低い形で背もたれを付けました。また、屋内のソファーとしても利用出来るように設計しました。モダンな感じを出す為に、オーク材を細い部材パーツに削り込み、リズミカルに組み合わせ、細くシャープなラインを出すシルエットを意識しました。その為、アームと脚足部分を僅かに湾曲させ、微妙な立体感のある削り込みを施しています。また、エッジを効かせるように、肌触りを損ない程度に微妙に角度を付ける削り込みをしています。また、椅子全体のシルエットをシャープにする為、安全性、部材の強度テストを繰り返し、安全性が保全できる程度の細さに部材パーツを削り込んでいるのもこの椅子の特長です。
実用性な面では、座面と背もたれは、一般のチェアよりも、かなり幅を広くして、日本人、外国人、お年寄りの方でも、どのような身体のサイズの人でも、ゆったり寛げるように配慮しました。また、脚足を長くして、お年寄り等が立ち上がりやすいように配慮しています。
