Detail: a design made with the idea of whether the person waiting outside a popular store where there is a long queue it can be sitting in a more light and pleasant bench.
Originally it was an idea of a modern bench to renew the image of a shop, but considering the practicality for the people waiting it was good a fashionable bench with good design and comfort.
Japanese woodwork furniture. The goal of this chair was to pour the skills of the woodworking craftsmen and to have a comfortable sitting feeling with a warmth and modern appearance.
On the design side, I attached a backrest in a low shape. In addition, it was designed to be usable as an indoor sofa. We scratched the oak material into thin member parts and combined it rhythmically. A thin and sharp line silhouette. For that reason, we slightly bend the arm and the foot part, cutting it with a delicate three-dimensional feeling. Also, to make the edge work we slightly scrap angle the extent that it does not damage the touch.
The seating surface and the backrest have been made wider than the general bench considerably so that Japanese, foreigners, elderly people can relax at any body size. Also, this bench is repeatedly tested its safety and strength of the parts and the parts are scraped to the extent that safety can be preserved.

詳細: 行列が出来る人気店の外で、順番を待つ人が座っているベンチをもっと軽快で気持ちの良いベンチにできないかという着想で手がけたデザインです。
もともと、お店のイメージを刷新させるようなモダンなベンチという着想でしたが、順番を待つ人が軽快で気持ち良く待てるという実用性を配慮し、デザイン性プラス座り心地が良いお洒落なベンチが良いと思いました。
日本の木工家具聖地の木工職人の技術を注ぎ込み、人間的な温かみがありながら、外観がお洒落でモダンでゆとりのある、極めて座り心地の良いイメージというのがこの椅子の目指すものでした。
デザイン面では、低い形で背もたれを付けました。また、屋内のソファーとしても利用出来るように設計しました。モダンな感じを出す為に、オーク材を細い部材パーツに削り込み、リズミカルに組み合わせ、細くシャープなラインを出すシルエットを意識しました。その為、アームと脚足部分を僅かに湾曲させ、微妙な立体感のある削り込みを施しています。また、エッジを効かせるように、肌触りを損ない程度に微妙に角度を付ける削り込みをしています。また、椅子全体のシルエットをシャープにする為、安全性、部材の強度テストを繰り返し、安全性が保全できる程度の細さに部材パーツを削り込んでいるのもこの椅子の特長です。
実用性な面では、座面と背もたれは、一般のチェアよりも、かなり幅を広くして、日本人、外国人、お年寄りの方でも、どのような身体のサイズの人でも、ゆったり寛げるように配慮しました。また、脚足を長くして、お年寄り等が立ち上がりやすいように配慮しています。

詳細: ずっと前から、軽快で気持ちのいい、モダンな椅子をデザインしたいと思っていました。シルエットラインが美しくて、ゆったりとした工芸的な手作りのぬくもりが伝わり、それでいてエッジを効かせたモダンなものがいいと思いました。
日本の木工家具聖地の木工職人の技術を注ぎ込み、人間的な温かみがありながら、レトロ感が漂うモダンで清浄な、そしてシャープなイメージというのがこの椅子の目指すものでした。

Detail: It is a design that I made with the idea of "There seems to be no table".
Initially, I made it having in mind the image of a dining table where four people eat but I thought about the 2WAY specification design which can be substituted for a coffee table where 4 people can relax. A compact design so that it can be used for various purposes. The design was taken into account.
Japanese woodwork furniture. Woodworking craftsmen skill, while keeping human warmth, the exterior is uniquely aimed for a modern and practical image.
Crafted handmade warmth Japanese furniture. It was designed with edges for a beautiful and modern appearance.
Using oak wood, the top board finished to reasonable thinness, legs fused sharpness and strength has an asymmetrical shape, rhythmically combines thinness and thickness to make an enjoyable design. Fine legs are safe. I harmonized the thinness and thickness of the unbalanced legs. Also, I wanted to emphasize the beauty and sharpness of the appearance, that's why I made the leg parallel to the corner of the top board.
When it is made parallel, there are times when the wood becomes bent due to contractility which is the characteristic of the wood for many years of use
Because it is, it is designed to prevent shrinkage by leaving a gap of about 2 mm.
In terms of practicality, I was conscious of the compact shape considering the space to be used.
As a result, you can use it as a cafe's coffee table, dining table, meeting table, and desk as well.

詳細: 「有るようで無いテーブル」をという着想で手がけたデザインです。
デザイン当初、4人で食事するダイニングテーブルというイメージで考えましたが、どうせなら4人で寛げるカフェ用のコーヒーテーブルにも代用出来る2WAY仕様のデザインを考え、いろいろな用途に代用出来るようにコンパクトにデザインを配慮しました。
日本の木工家具聖地の木工職人の技術を注ぎ込み、人間的な温かみがありながら、外観がユニークで唯一択一、モダンで実用性なイメージというのがこのテーブルの目指すものでした。
まず、デザイン面では外観のシルエットラインの美しさに拘りました。
日本の家具職人職員が誇る工芸的な手作りのぬくもりが伝わり、それでいてシャープで美しいモダンな外観が出るように、エッジを効かせたデザインにしました。
オーク材を使用し、天板は程よい薄さに仕上げ、脚足はシャープさと力強さを融合した、
アシメントリーな形状にして、薄さ、細さ、太さをリズミカルに組み合わせ、楽しむデザインにしています。アシメントリーな細脚は、安全性テストを繰り返し、安全性が確保できる極限な細さに仕上げました。アンバランスな脚の細さと太さを調和させ、なかなか有るようで無い外観を意識しました。また、外観の美しさとシャープさを強調したいと思い、脚を天板の角と平行にしています。
平行にした場合、長年利用により、木の特性である収縮性により木のしなりが出る場合があるので、2mm程度、隙間を空け収縮性を防止するデザインにしています。
実用性な面では、利用する用途のスペースを意識してコンパクトな形状を意識しました。
それにより、カフェのコーヒーテーブル、ダイニングテーブル、打ち合わせテーブル、デスクとしてもマルチな利用が出来ます。
